About two dozen Master Masons, representing 11 different Lodges, and several Vermont Grand Lodge Officers, including the Grand Master, Grand Secretary, and Grand Lecturer, gathered at Morning Flower Lodge No.71 to celebrate and recognize two brothers of the same mother and Brothers of the same Mother Lodge. Brother "Sam" Waite received a Centenarian Certificate and his 75-year Service Award and pin on his 100th birthday from Brother "Sandy" Kartens IV, Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Vermont. Sam's brother, Brother Perry Waite, also received his 60-year Service Award and pin. Brother Andrew Chila, Worshipful Master of Morning Flower Lodge No.71, and all the officers and attendees did a great job of receiving the Grand Line officers and creating a memorable event for all who attended. Special thanks to Brother Eric Mack, PM, for his help coordinating the event and providing refreshments afterward.
